Gastón Ricaud, born on January 4, 1973, in Olavarría, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina, began his career at age nine working as a tractor driver and later as a machinery operator before moving to Buenos Aires at 18 to study design industrial. He discovered his passion for acting while attending Gabriela Daniel's acting classes and landed his first role in the 1994 telenovela "Aprender a volar".
