Øystein Stene

Biography

Øystein Stene is a Norwegian author and director, born in 1969 in Trondheim. He has been a lecturer at the Statens Teaterhøgskole since 2006 and has created several award-winning short films, including "Pyramiden" which won the jury's top prize at the Russian KROK festival in 2006. Stene is known for his novels that explore extreme existential projects through strong narrative voices, often blurring the lines between characters' perspectives.
