Edmar Morel

Biography

Edmar Morel was a Brazilian journalist and writer, best known for his documentary film "It's All True: Based on an Unfinished Film by Orson Welles" (1993). A pioneering author of investigative journalism, he wrote extensively on social justice issues, including the Revolta da Chibata, which he coined as the Revolta do Almirante Negro. His reporting and writing earned him a reputation as a fearless advocate for truth and justice in Brazil.
