Oona von Maydell is a German actress and filmmaker, born in 1985 in Possenhofen, Bayern. She studied painting at the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar and later earned a Master's degree in Curatorial Studies from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main. Von Maydell went on to study film and media at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, graduating with a focus on screenwriting and direction.
