Biography

Wilfried Romoli is a French dancer and former principal dancer of the Paris Opera Ballet, promoted to first danseur at age 26. He was named a star dancer in 2005 at 42, working with prominent choreographers such as Pina Bausch and Roland Petit. Romoli retired from stage performances in 2008, but continues to dance occasionally, including a 2011 revival of Preljocaj's Le Funambule.
