Samal Yeslyamova is a Kazakh actress born on September 1, 1984. She made her screen debut in the 2008 Cannes Film Festival-winning drama Tulpan, where she was just 19 years old and navigated challenges of living in a nomadic yurt during filming. Her breakthrough role in Ayka (2018) earned her the Best Actress Award at the same festival ten years later. Yeslyamova has also studied at the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts.
