Biography

Aksel Lund Svindal is a Norwegian former World Cup alpine ski racer and two-time overall World Cup champion (2007 and 2009), Olympic gold medalist in super-G at the 2010 Winter Olympics and in downhill at the 2018 Winter Olympics. He is a five-time World Champion in downhill, giant slalom, and super combined, with his 2013 downhill victory marking his first four consecutive world championship titles.
