Ranjith Balakrishnan is a renowned Indian filmmaker, screenwriter, and actor known for his work in Malayalam cinema. His directorial debut with Ravanaprabhu (2001) marked the beginning of a successful career, which includes winning three National Film Awards for Best Feature Films. Notably, his films Thirakkatha (2008) and Indian Rupee (2011) won the prestigious award consecutively.
