Biography

Madhupal Kannambathu is a Malayalam film actor, director, and screenwriter born in 1963 to a native of Kozhikode and Kannur. He began his career as an assistant director under filmmakers Bharat Gopy and Rajiv Anchal on notable films such as Guru and Nothing but Life. Madhupal made his acting debut with Kashmeeram (1994) before directing his first film Thalappavu in 2008, based on the life of Arikkad Varghese.
