Hema is a veteran Indian actress and comedian known for her distinctive performances in Telugu films, including the notable roles of Sasikala in "Magadheera" (2009) and Best Female Comedian in Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam, earning her the prestigious Nandi Award. With over 35 years of industry experience, Hema made a comeback with the film Murari and has continued to act in numerous films. She also ventured into politics, contesting as MLA in the 2014 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election for Jai Samaikyandhra Party.
