Kat Coiro is a film director, producer, and screenwriter born in New York, trained in theater at Moscow Arts Theater, Carnegie Mellon University, and AFI. She began her career directing independent micro-budget films, including And While We Were Here, and later transitioned to studio filmmaking with Universal Pictures' Marry Me. Coiro has directed television pilots, including Marvel's She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and has written and produced for several episodic shows.
