Biography

Ronald Alfred Shiner was a British stand-up comedian and comedy actor whose career spanned film, West End theatre, and music hall. He achieved stardom with his record-breaking performances in "Worm's Eye View" (1945-1947) and "Seagulls Over Sorrento" (1950-1954). Shiner was known for his comedic timing, earning him a notable role as Dicky Bird in the 1953 film "Innocents in Paris." He left behind an estate of £30,955 after his passing in June 1966.
