Biography

Will Vinton was a pioneering animator and filmmaker known for co-directing "Closed Mondays", the first Claymation film. He brought iconic characters to life, most notably The California Raisins in an ad set to Motown's "I Heard It Through the Grapevine". Vinton won one Academy Award and accepted several Emmy and Clio Awards for his studio's work, cementing his legacy as a master of Claymation.
