David Brin

Biography

Glen David Brin is an award-winning American science fiction author and astronomer born on October 6, 1950, in Glendale, California. He graduated from the California Institute of Technology with a degree in astronomy and later earned his Ph.D. in astronomy from the University of California, San Diego. Brin's novel "The Postman" was adapted into a feature film starring Kevin Costner, and he has received numerous awards for his work, including Hugo, Locus, and Nebula Awards.
