Rémy Belvaux was a Belgian actor, director, producer, and screenwriter known for his critically acclaimed film "Man Bites Dog," which he co-created with André Bonzel and Benoît Poelvoorde. He played a journalist in the 1992 film, a documentary about a serial killer, which won several awards, including the Special Jury Prize at the Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival. Belvaux was also a notable prankster, famously throwing a cream pie at Microsoft founder Bill Gates in 1998.
