Brandon Scott Trost is an American cinematographer and director born on August 29, 1981, in Los Angeles, California. He co-wrote and directed the film The FP with his brother Jason, and has worked as a cinematographer on notable films like Crank: High Voltage, Halloween II, and MacGruber. Trost also frequently collaborates with Seth Rogen, including the films This Is the End, Neighbors, and The Interview. He made his solo directorial debut in 2020's An American Pickle.
