Oliver George Wallace was a British-American composer and conductor born on August 6, 1887, in London. He emigrated to the United States in 1904, becoming a US citizen, and worked as a conductor and organist in Seattle before joining Disney Studios in 1936. Wallace composed music for 139 animated short films, including the iconic "Der Fuehrer's Face".
