Biography

Georges Gachot is a French and Swiss filmmaker born in Neuilly-sur-Seine on October 8, 1962. He studied piano and musicology before transitioning to filmmaking, producing documentary series on musicians such as Martha Argerich and developing a new narrative form with his feature film "Where Are You, João Gilberto?" (2018). His work includes the acclaimed quadrilogy on Brazilian music and "Misty – The Erroll Garner Story".
