Cosmo Kyrle Bellew was a British/American vaudeville and film actor. Born in uncertain circumstances, he immigrated to the US in 1914 and began his career as a vaudeville performer, with notable roles in musicals such as Somewhere in France, Dearie, and The Boy. During World War I, Bellew enlisted in the British Army, and after the war, he continued to perform on stage before transitioning to film.
