Stephen Tung Wai is a Hong Kong action choreographer, actor, and film director born on February 2, 1954. He began his career as a stuntman at 16 and transitioned to action choreography in the 1970s, collaborating with directors John Woo, Tsui Hark, and Wong Kar-wai on notable films like A Better Tomorrow and Hard Boiled. Tung has won seven Hong Kong Film Awards for Best Action Choreography, making him the most awarded individual in this category.
