Amanda Lear

Biography

Amanda Lear is a French singer, songwriter, painter, television presenter, actress, and former model, born in British Hong Kong or 1946. She began her career as a fashion model in the mid-1960s, modeling for Paco Rabanne and others, and later became the muse of Spanish surrealist painter Salvador Dalí. Lear rose to fame as a disco star in the late 1970s with hits like "Queen of Chinatown" and "Follow Me".
