Michael Kuhn

Biography

Michael Ashton Kuhn, born May 7, 1949, in Nairobi, Kenya, is a Kenyan-born English film producer based primarily in England. He co-founded PolyGram Filmed Entertainment in 1991 and later established the production company Qwerty Films after merging with Universal Music Group in 1999. Kuhn was appointed Chair of the National Film and Television School in 2002 and received a CBE in the 2021 New Year Honours for his services to the film industry, married Caroline in 1995 and has two sons.
