Biography

Bill Thompson was a featured comedian on the Fibber McGee and Molly radio series, bringing his iconic "Mr. Wimple" character to life in the early 1940s. He then took on an iconic voice role as Droopy in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's theatrical cartoons from 1943 to 1958. Thompson also lent his voice to various animated films, including King Hubert in Disney's Sleeping Beauty and Lady and the Tramp.
