Biography

Samuel E. Wright was a talented American actor and singer known for his iconic voice roles in Disney's The Little Mermaid as Sebastian, the biographical film Bird as Dizzy Gillespie, and the Broadway production of The Lion King where he played Mufasa. He also brought to life Kron in the 2000 animated film Dinosaur. Wright's distinctive vocals earned him a nomination for a Tony Award for his performance in The Tap Dance Kid.
