Biography

Kari Sylwan is a Swedish actress and dancer who got her start in 1956 at the Royal Swedish Ballet and Cullberg Ballet, where she danced leading parts in productions such as "The Lady from the Sea". She also appeared in Ingmar Bergman films "Cries and Whispers" and "Face to Face", showcasing her versatility as an artist. Sylwan was later recognized for her contributions to dance, receiving the H.M. The King's Medal of the 12th order in 2005.
