Biography

Roy Edward Disney was a senior executive for the Walt Disney Company, founded by his uncle Walt and father Roy O. Disney. He served as chairman of the animation division and orchestrated the ousting of top executives Ron W. Miller in 1984 and Michael Eisner in 2005. A lifelong member of the Disney family, he was often compared to his notable ancestors. At his death, he held a significant stake in the company and remained a consultant.
