He began his acting career with a notable role in the 1978 film A Hero Ain't Nothin' but a Sandwich and gained recognition for his portrayal of Lamar Latrelle in the Revenge of the Nerds series from 1984 to 1994. Scott has also appeared in films such as SpaceCamp, Extreme Prejudice, and That Was Then... This Is Now.
