Will Sampson was a Native-American entrepreneur and actor born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, known for his roles as Chief Bromden in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Taylor in Poltergeist II: The Other Side. A rodeo performer for 20 years, he was discovered by film producers after being recommended by a rodeo announcer. Sampson's artwork is also featured in the Creek Council House Museum collection in Oklahoma.
