Biography

Bernard Piven was a renowned American actor, director, and co-founder of the Playwrights Theatre Club, a pioneering comedy enterprise that spawned The Second City. He appeared in notable productions like "A House Remembered" and played Captain Mertin in the cult classic film "Being John Malkovich." A respected teacher, Piven also taught improvisation at Northwestern University.
