Biography

Manu Katché was born on October 27, 1958, in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, France. As a French drummer and songwriter of Ivorian descent, he has worked extensively as a session musician with notable artists such as Sting and Peter Gabriel, releasing his first solo album, It's About Time, in 1991, followed by subsequent jazz-focused albums including Playground (2007) and Third Round (2010).
