Chua Kah Joo

Biography

Chua Kah Joo is a Singaporean actor and martial artist who began his career in ballet, dancing with renowned companies such as Wuppertal Ballet and Scottish Ballet in the 1970s. He later collaborated with Rudolf Nureyev before teaching Wing Chun Kung Fu in London, where he was cast as Chen in Steven Spielberg's Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. In 1990, Chua returned to Singapore to teach at his own studios.
