Jack Rollins

Biography

Jack Rollins was born Jacob Rabinowitz on March 23, 1915 in Brooklyn, New York City, and went on to manage Harry Belafonte's debut album, co-writing the song "Man Piaba". He helped create and promote comedy duo Nichols and May in 1958, and later became a key producer for Woody Allen's filmography from 1969 until his death. Rollins also executive produced ABC's The Dick Cavett Show (1970-72) and Late Night with David Letterman (1982-92).
