Paul Oakenfold

Biography

Paul Oakenfold, born August 30, 1963, is an English record producer, remixer, and trance DJ known for his prolific remix work with over 100 artists, including U2, Madonna, and Michael Jackson. He was voted the No. 1 DJ in the world twice by DJ Magazine in 1998 and 1999. Oakenfold's early life included studying to be a chef before pursuing music, mentored by British DJ Trevor Fung.
