Biography

Alphonsia Emmanuel is a British actress born on November 7, 1956, in Pointe Michel, Dominica. She began her performing arts education at Carlton Vale School and Claremont High School before attending Kingston University, where she earned a Bachelor of Education degree. A member of the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal National Theatre, Emmanuel's notable roles include Mary Diamond in "Sweetwater" (1988) and Selina in "Under Suspicion" (1991).
