Jo Hartley

Biography

Jo Hartley is a British actress born in Oldham, England, to a working-class family. She began acting at 11 in her school production of The Sound of Music and developed her skills at Oldham Theatre Workshop before leaving to work at British Aerospace and later Japan Airlines. Her notable roles include Cynthia in This Is England (2006), Tina in Sweetheart (2021), and Nicola Fishwick in Bank of Dave (2023).
