Biography

Albina Matveyeva was a Russian actress born in Moscow on January 25, 1939. She studied at the Moscow Institute of Technology and later graduated from the Vsevolod Meyerhold Theatre School, where she trained under notable instructors like Lidia Degtyarenko and Arkady Blagonravov. Matveyeva's notable film appearances include "The Lighthouse" (2006) and, posthumously recognized for her contributions to cinema, was awarded both a title of State Artist of the Russian Federation (1992) and People's Artist of Russia (2007).
