Haskell Wexler
Biography
Haskell Wexler was a visionary American filmmaker, cinematographer, and documentarian. He won two Academy Awards for Best Cinematography for his work on "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" (1966) and "Bound for Glory" (1976). A pioneer of socio-politically charged documentary and docufiction films, Wexler was known for his innovative style and influence on the industry. He was recognized as one of film history's ten most influential cinematographers in 2003.
