Biography

Björn Ulvaeus was born in Gothenburg on April 25, 1945. He co-founded the Swedish folk-schlager band Hootenanny Singers, which had a massive following in Scandinavia, and later teamed up with Benny Andersson to form ABBA, one of the most successful musical groups in history. Ulvaeus also co-composed several musicals, including Chess and Mamma Mia!, and produced films like Mamma Mia! and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.
