He has gained international recognition for his roles as Rudolf Höss in "The Zone of Interest" (2023), Georg Elser in "13 Minutes" (2015), and Fabian in season three of "The White Lotus" (2025). Friedel has also been part of the main cast of the Netflix series "Babylon Berlin" since 2017.
