Biography

Pieter Van Hees is a Belgian filmmaker and screenwriter born in 1970. He studied philology at KU Leuven and film at Hogeschool Sint-Lukas Brussel, before making several short films. Notable among his works are "Left Bank" (2008), "Dirty Mind" (2009), and "Waste Land", which won the Best Director and Best Screenplay award at Ensors 2015.
