Malik Zidi

Biography

Malik Zidi was born in Châtenay-Malabry to a Kabyle Algerian father and Breton mother, spending formative years in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, Paris. He pursued comedy, studying at the Théâtre Véronique Nordey and Théâtre de Proposition. Zidi's breakthrough came with François Ozon's Water Drops on Burning Rocks (2000), earning his first César Award nomination for Most Promising Actor. This role launched a successful career in film, television, and theatre.
