Sam Firstenberg, born on March 13, 1950, in Poland, is an Israeli-American film director, screenwriter, and producer. He is best known for directing the first two films in the American Ninja series and other low-budget B movies, including Riverbend and Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo. Firstenberg has directed 22 theatrical feature films since completing his graduate studies in film at Loyola Marymount University, showcasing a diverse range of genres.
