Karen Taylor

Biography

Karen Taylor is a British actress and comedian, best known for creating and starring in the BBC3 sketch series "Touch Me, I'm Karen Taylor" and appearing in the film "Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging". A former finalist in the Daily Telegraph Open Mic Award, she studied Theatre Studies at the University of Warwick, where she met future actors Stephen Merchant and Hannah Waterman. Taylor's breakthrough came with the Edinburgh Festival in 2000, followed by her own sketch show on BBC Three.
