Biography

Cathryn Damon was a talented actress known for her notable roles in sitcoms of the 1970s and 1980s. She won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her portrayal of Mary Campbell in Soap, and was nominated three times prior to her win. Before turning to acting, she had a background in ballet, dancing with the Metropolitan Opera's dance company and performing Off-Broadway.
