Biography

Peter John Farrelly is a renowned American film director, screenwriter, and producer born on December 17, 1956, in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. He co-directed the iconic quirky comedies Dumb and Dumber, Shallow Hal, Me, Myself and Irene, and There's Something About Mary with his brother Bobby. In 2018, Farrelly solo-directed and co-wrote the critically acclaimed comedy-drama Green Book, which won numerous awards including the Academy Awards for Best Picture and Original Screenplay.
