John Ajvide Lindqvist is a Swedish writer of horror novels and short stories, born on December 2, 1968, in the Stockholm suburb of Blackeberg. His debut novel "Let the Right One In" (2004) achieved great success in Sweden and abroad, followed by "Handling the Undead" (2005), which introduced zombies rising from the dead in Stockholm. His works have been translated into many languages and published by Ordfront, including his latest notable release as an Undertaker in 2024.
