Leslie Dayman was a renowned Australian actor with a 50-year career spanning television, film, and theatre. His notable roles included senior detective Bill Hudson in the police procedural series Homicide, appearances in Prisoner, Sons and Daughters, and E Street, and a memorable portrayal of Bill-Bill in the 1999 film Holy Smoke. He began his career in theatre in 1955, working as an actor, director, and narrator.
