Jed Whedon is an American screenwriter and musician, born on July 18, 1975, to a family of notable writers. He co-created the musical Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog with his brothers Joss and Zack, as well as Maurissa Tancharoen, which won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Class – Short-format Live-Action Entertainment Programs in 2009. Whedon has also released music under his own name and collaborated with others on various projects.
