Ross Thomas is a multifaceted American actor and filmmaker born on August 21, 1981, in Stockton, California. He attended Arizona State University and the University of Southern California, where he studied anthropology and graduated in winter 2004. A talented athlete, Thomas played rugby for the university team, before turning to acting with notable roles in films like "Soul Surfer" (2011) and "The Cutting Edge: Going for the Gold" (2006).
