Biography

A British actress born in London in 1933, Barbara Archer graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 1953 and began her career with a small role in the BBC sitcom Whack-O!. She gained recognition for her appearance in the 1958 film Dracula, starring Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee. Her notable film roles include May in "Up the Junction" (1968) and Iris in "Rattle of a Simple Man" (1964).
